At PSI Dressage & Jumping with the Stars, Werribee, Australia 18-20
march DS Burlington Bertie (also known as Noël) by the Swedish stallion Briar awarded third place in the 5-year old Australian Young Horse Championships.
"The "purple" liver chestnut (just like his dad) cuts a fine figure now
that he is working in balance and showing the looseness that his
bloodlines promise. His owner Moira Kelly from NSW and all connections
were thrilled with their boy and congratulate Tor for the progress he
has made in 4 short months since taking on the horse in October 2009.
After his ride Tor said that he enjoys riding this horse and has a good
relationship with the horse!" He is sure that DS Burlington Bertie will
go further. The scores were 7.5 for the trot, 7.0 for the walk, 8.5 for
the canter, 8.0 for submissiveness and 7.5 for general impression. Ton
De Ridder said after his ride, "The rider did very well, a big applause
please! The horse has a nice expressive trot, I can see the left and
right front leg come up - like Chacomo (his wife Alexandra's Sydney
Olympic horse). He was not quite as nice as the first horse, but he is
a horse that does not react too much and so this will make him a good GP
horse. Ton awarded 8.5 as his riding mark, so a total of 16.20 just
behind Mayfield Be Brave."

Jo Moran (USA) and her mare Minna (SWB born 1995 by Bernstein out of Mischa by Marko-Polarstern, breeder Christina Hermodsson) placed 4d in Grand Prix Special and 6th in Grand Prix.

Kristian von Krusenstierna (SWE) and April 4cible (SWB born 1998 by Briar out of Lilys April xx 22162 by Lane Court-Mon Capitaine, breeder Cecilia Sjödoff) placed 8th in Intermediarie II and 16th in Grand Prix.
Kristian and Charleston (SWB born 1998 by Briar out of Drusilla (31) 22812 by Daktyl-Sombrero, breeder Annica Christensson) placed 21th in Grand Prix.
Susan Dutta (USA) and her Manette DC (by the Swedish stallion Master) placed 8th in Intermediarie II.

The Israelian Oded Shimoni (who lives in Wellington, FL) has his sights set on competing for Israel in his third World Equestrian Games, after being offered the ride on the 14-year-old Swedish warmblood gelding Granada (born 1996 by Granit out of Valencia (48) 18569 by Warrigall-Dorn, breeder Peter Lundgren).
Granada placed 4d in the FEI Young Rider World Cup Finals to Music 2007 with Micaela Mabragana (ARG).

Cecilia Kristoffersen (SWE) and Pay Back TP (SWB born 2000 by Come Back II out of Baccara 21806 by Bernstein-Toe Hold xx, breeder Team Piaff) won Intermediarie I freestyle, Intermediarie I and Prix St Georges!
Mette Ono Njøten (NOR) and Helios (SWB born 2000 by Bolero out of Pandora (13) 29145 by Chirlon-Allegretto, breeder Margareta Olinsson) placed 5th in Intermediarie I and 5th in Prix St Georges.
Hannah Hurvenes Clarke (NOR) and Look Alike (SWB born 1998 by Levantos II out of Landlady 26727 by Landlord) won all three classes for young rider.
