For the first time in history Norway has qualified a dressage team for the World Equestrian Games. One of the qualified Norwegian riders is Cathrine Rasmussen. Cathrines horse Orlando is a Swedish Warmblood (born 1998 by Master out of Ockra 24030 by Martini-Emir, breeder Birgitta and Claes Piper).

The talented Swedish bred Grand Prix horse Biggles 1015 (born 1988 by Briar out of Susanna 15097 by Krevad-Falstaff) has a new rider: Kristian von Krusenstierna. Biggles has been trained to Grand Prix level by Jan Brink and is owned by the Lundberg-Persson family. He has won the Scandinavian Open and the Breeders Trophy 2004 and followed-up these results with winning the championship for 7-year-olds in Falsterbo. During the last couple of years Biggles has as well won six Grand Prix with Jan Brink in the saddle.

The Swedish born stallion Sandros Dancer (born 2004 by Sandro Hit out of Significant (23) 26895 by Master-Chapman, breeder Elise Fredriksson) and his rider Stephanie Eardley placed 2d in British Young Horse national for 6 year olds with 7.40 points at Wellington riding premier leauge 7 june.

Results 

Stephanie Eardley and Sandros Dancer also won two classes at Abbey Dressage in Fiddington on 23 may.

Sandros Dancer is graded in WBS in United Kingdom and is own by Rachel Struel, France. His great grandmother Ghazzi was fullsister to the stallion Bellini 817. Sandros Dancer stood 2009 at stud in Haras-du-Feuillard, Lower Normandy, France.

CDI J/YR/P Moorsele, Belgium 20-24 may

Junior rider Marina Mattsson (SWE) and her chestnut gelding Beckham (SWB born 2002 by Bernstein out of Kontesse (51) 24836 by Koncerz xx-Caracas, breeder Johanna Nihlgård) won both the individual test and the team championships test! They placed 2d in the Kur to Music.

Young Rider Elisabeth Hjelm (SWE) and Baltzar (SWB born 1999 by Briar out of Zaffran 18327 by Pontus-Lansiär, breeder Eva Pettersson) placed 6th in the individual test.

Young rider Johanna DueBoje (SWE) and Brownie (SWB born 1998 by Bernstein out of Bellis 19158 by Ganesco-Gaspari, breeder Ester och Karl-Erik Jönsson) placed 6th in the individual test. Johanna and Don Corleone (SWB born 2001 by Don Schufro out of Boette (43) 28668 by Bolero-Pajazzo, breeder Gränsbo stuteri and Rose Mathisen) placed 9th in the team championships test and 12th in the individual test.

CDI*** Wayne & Dressage at Lamplight in Wayne, IL, 21-23 may 

In the 5-year-old division of the Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Selection Trials was the chestnut mare Beall Spring Savanna (SWB by Bellini out of Sahara (70) 23491 by Chapman-Asterix, breeder Thora Pollack) reserve champion. Savanna was ridden by Shelly Reichart to an overall score of  7.384.

The Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Selection Trials concluded the 2010 qualifying season with competitions held across the country in Illinois, California and Virginia to select the U.S representatives for the 2010 FEI World Breeding Championships to be held in Verden, Germany, August 5 - 8, 2010.
